I don't want them to grow up too quickly and miss what being young and carefree is all about.
I want them to enjoy it all. But being their mom, I want to be part of their enjoyment too...So far so good.

Nothing like a latte and a nice chat...

I had a smile on my face all afternoon after having met a fellow blogger for a coffee.

Turns out we are both Essex/American blogger girls and when one post lead to another,we decided to meet up for a coffee and a chat. It was really nice and not at all strange to sit in a coffee house waiting for a total stranger who you have only ever seen a tiny picture of and spoken to via a blog.

Two lattes later and I had to run off to do a 'school run' so to speak but I would have happily sat there getting to know a new friend face to face instead.

It really is a small world we live in.

The chickens are being really daft. They scratch around the hen house and mess about in there and won't come out into their lovely, dirty, leafy run. They hop up to the top of the Wendy house that is their home and sit looking out the window like little old ladies!
They won't lay eggs and have no interest in nesting.

Help. What am I doing wrong??

  1. Oooh, I bet I know who that was. It's great meeting up with other bloggers, especially when you find you get on as much as you'd hoped you would.

  2. I'm finally catching up on some reading, how nice to see this! I'm going to do one of my own soon :)
