The Gallery: Mother Love is the topic this week. So is it a mother's love for her children? The maternal instinct that sometimes overwhelms us females and makes us give in to anything our little darlings want?? Could it be broader, the instinct to swaddle, cuddle, nurture?
What mother couldn't love a puppy like this?
Life has been a bit about the Dogs lately. Dog classes with Cadi once a week and last weekend I did an agility demo day with Rosalynn. She's my 6 year old Toller and she had a blast, running through hoops and flying over jumps. I was exhausted after two hours but she could have gone for another two! The dogs are my distraction at the moment but if you ask my children, they are my obsession all the time.I wouldn't have animals if I wasn't going to do it right. IT isn't just about the feeding and watering or the letting them out. It's about making them part of the family. Our dogs have more personality then some of my children's friends and I am happy to be a Mom to them.
i could love a puppy like that, I adore my dog. People who know me, know I say I have 3 sons, G the eldest, Toby my middle baby(the beagle), then R the youngest, he makes our family complete, and to be fair gets more treats than the kids as his bed is our bed lol!

ReplyDeleteI adore my dogs too - they are both sitting at my feet as I type, looking at my every move as they hint for another walk!! Your pup is gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteEveryone says that my eldest dog, Tattie, whom I named my blog after, is basically my first born...and yes I do think dogs can be far more entertaining and better mannered than many a teenager!
