Children...

I don't want them to grow up too quickly and miss what being young and carefree is all about.
I want them to enjoy it all. But being their mom, I want to be part of their enjoyment too...So far so good.

Busy Mom Chooses Geography Over World Cup...

I need more hours in the day or night really, because I like my sleep and work much better during the day if I've had at least 7 hours.

I have a lot of little projects on my plate this week and plates are falling as I juggle. It seems that everyone in my family, including the USA ones, want a little piece of me.
I want a little piece of me!

I enjoy keeping busy and work well under pressure as many moms do but I honestly can't wait for this month to be over now.

All said, I have been doing some great projects. I've been asked if I'd like to write some articles for an on-line family magazine. Great but the research took some time. I've been trying to commit to my own novel and instead have come up with a new idea for a whole different YA novel so I am now writing two at once. And I have been revising with the chicks and re-learning Geography which I forgot I really like! Then there is the web site project which is on going but really important because it is actually someone elses business so I can't mess it up- no pressure. Then there are the home projects which seem to keep me busy between all the others.

And I can't believe how fast the grass is growing. My wild flower meadow is giant. The grasses are taller then the dogs and flowers are popping out. I bet my chickens would like a piece of that. They are well penned up at the moment because when I let them have free-range of the back garden the other day, they destroyed a whole flower bed in half an hour! And still only layed three eggs for me.

We are going to visit our new puppy tomorrow to visit the litter and maybe choose out new girl. The family can't agree on a name though.
It will have nothing to do with The World Cup though, I a m not a football fan even though UK v USA tomorrow. We are having a dinner party Saturday night and I was informed this morning that dinner can't begin until at least 8:30pm after the game.  My rooster loves the football so it will be a mad month here in front of the TV. yah

Desperate for a jog and my yoga class today so time to go. x

  2. Exhausting times! Take my hat off to you for having a dinner party and working round the football, you're a better lady than me. World Cup will be big in our house, but as we've half Scottish (me) and half Northern Ireland (the boy) we're undecided who we'll support..... Hope yoga did the trick, that's on my list to give a go but, like you, I don't have enough hours in the day right now, ah well, one day...
