I turned on my kitchen tap last Friday and nothing happened. No water, no noise, nothing. That's a bad thing. We have just been waiting for a bit of a thaw so the pipe won't burst but husband forgot and turned on the tap yesterday afternoon in the kitchen. He promptly shouted," it works! " Then swore really loud as a woosh sound came from the kitchen floor.

Then This happens:
Husband freaks out and rips the back of the kitchen cupboard out to expose the burst pipe. Nice. I have a nice clean up job today. A little something for half term to keep me busy.
I have been taking the chickens a jug of warm water each morning for the last two weeks since we have had this cold weather. They are a bit delicate and don't seem to like the snow that is in their home run. Babies. They must not mind too much because they are laying fast and furious at the moment.
