Children...

I don't want them to grow up too quickly and miss what being young and carefree is all about.
I want them to enjoy it all. But being their mom, I want to be part of their enjoyment too...So far so good.

The Gallery-SEASONS

The Gallery, is here and it's Seasons.

The Gallery: Seasons

Well, Autumn is here and a frosty morning and a camera produced this. I do love the fall, chunky sweaters and lighting the wood burner, Cooking with pumpkin and the smell of bonfines.

  2. I love it when frost outlines the leaves--and my favourite are oak leaves. And what a great description of fall/autumn: chunky sweaters, bonfires and pumpkin!

And I have to say that is a really beautiful wreath on your door--I miss wreaths on doors at times other than Christmas.

  4. Gorgeous picture! I love how it's covered in frost and yet bathed in sunlight!

  5. Those frost edged leaves closest to the camera look unreal, almost as if they have their own internal illumination!

Greenie01, i'll try to keep you amused!
Michelloui, I made the wreath on the door and make similar ones for Christmas at a farm in The Easters, Essex if you are interested.
Rachgrif, glad to have you looking in!

  7. We buy our Christmas trees there every year!

When I wrote my blog post for today I was thinking of you--reasons why I like living in Essex. Not a complete list but a good start!

  8. Oh I love the Autumn too! Though after all the blustery winds of the last few days most of the gorgeous fiery red leaves are off the trees now ...which means winter is nearer than I would like

  9. Blustery winds is right! Our bed room is in the converted attic and there is a huge weather vane attached to the roof and it has been blowing all night long for the past few nights!

  11. Fantastic photo! I feel like I'm missing autumn here in London. Everything seems to just turn brown and fall to the ground. I better head to the heath before it's truly over.
